Joselina Fay is a cultural advocate and artist with over 20 years of experience in social justice activism, arts education and non-profit administration.

    Joselina is a Graphic Designer, Videographer, and Web Designer, whose work is based on utilizing the digital arts to strengthen local cultural and political work.  She has worked with local nonprofits, activists and artists to develop digital assets that speak to local organizing and artistic efforts.

    Her short films, Lucha and Afuera Hay Aire, have been screened at NYU, Yale, Providence Latin American Film Festival, Santo Domingo Outfest, Centro Cultural de Espana (RD), among other venues.

    She has also worked extensively with youth and community development organizations in New York City, Massachusetts, and the Dominican Republic, focusing primarily on social mobilization and development through education and the arts as well as organizational development in the nonprofit sector.

    Associate Director of Art Center Programs, DreamYard Project (Bronx, NY) 08/16 – 10/21

    • Responsible for the vision and execution of arts and social justice community center programming. Developed and managed program, staff structure and organizational systems of Art Center; including staff support and training, budget management and fundraising, as well as HR and Operations coordination. Participated in organization-wide leadership and vision team, focusing on strategic planning and equity and arts activism integration.

    Academy Program Manager, Urban Arts Partnership (New York, NY) 09/14 – 08/16

    • Managed logistical operations of The Academy, an arts-based out-of-school program. Supervised 50 staff and 500 student participants per year, while ensuring timely execution of classes, workshops and event offerings. Responsible for program development, student recruitment, management of budget and finances, and evaluation of milestones and goals.

    • Coordinated and promoted national coaching program and event series for activist and artist development and leadership training.
